Many visitors come to Glencairn to share in the silence, stillness, beauty and simplicity that they find here and to join with the community in the celebration of the Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours. Our new six-bedroom guesthouse was completed in January 2020. We are delighted to be able to offer our guests an updated and comfortable space apart for quiet and solitude to renew mind, body and spirit and to share the fruits of Monastic Life.

Our new guesthouse is equipped with a ground-floor conference room, dining-room, toilet facilities and reception area together with a small shop selling our monastic products and spiritual books. The upper floor of the guesthouse, reserved for our residential guests, is elevator-accessible and fully equipped with en suite and laundry facilities. All meals are served in the guesthouse dining room. A small, private oratory is also located on the upper floor of the guesthouse for residential guests use only, in addition to guest access to the abbey church for all liturgical services.
