Emma Brady Receives the Novice’s Habit
On the feast of St Benedict, 11th July, 2019, Emma Brady, from Cavan, Ireland received the Cistercian Novice’s habit from Mother Marie Fahy, Abbess of St Mary’s Abbey, Glencairn.
The community gathered for her monastic initiation ceremony after Lauds on Thursday, 11th July and following her clothing, each greeted her individually with a ‘pax’ blessing and praying for her as she begins as a new novice sister in our community.
We continue to support Emma in our prayer as she goes forward in her novitiate formation and we rejoice as she opens herself to God’s ongoing call and grace.
Deo Gratias!
