Glencairn Christmas Cards

St Benedict, whose rule we follow as Cistercians, encourages his communities to “live by the labour of their hands…” Work and service is an important part of our monastic life.

Our Card Department began the production of religious greeting cards back in 1955. Since then, we produce a variety of greeting cards in Irish and in English for all occasions including cards for Christmas, Easter and St Patrick’s day. We also design and print Memorial and Acknowledgement cards suitable for commemorating the deceased in a range of sizes and designs according to customers’ needs.

As we approach the Christmas Season, the Card Department have been hard at work producing this year’s Glencairn Abbey Christmas Card Catalogue offering a wide range of cards for different tastes from icon cards and other religious styles to creative designs by our own sisters. We also offer a range of Christmas cards in the Irish language which are very popular with some of our customers.
