Vocation Discernment at Glencairn Abbey
Are you currently discerning if Monastic life could be for you? We invite women aged 20 – 40 to our next Monastic Experience Weekend from 25th to 27th August here at Glencairn.
Monastic Experience Weekends are a great way to be introduced to Cistercian life in the company of others who are also discerning. Experience the rhythm and balance of our Cistercian monastic life of prayer, work, and contemplation in community and solitude. Talk to a sister for vocation guidance. Meet our sisters in initial formation. Take some quiet time for prayer in the Abbey Church and experience God’s presence also in the beauty of nature here at Glencairn.

Directions to the Abbey can be found here on our website. To those who will be travelling by public transport please inquire with Sr Sarah and we can arrange to meet you at the nearest bus stop to the Abbey.
